BARRINGTON, IL – A local photographer is capturing the impact of the coronavirus and raising funds for local charities through the nationwide Front Porch Project.

Photographer Janette Tepas is taking photos of families in Barrington on their front porches or outside their homes as a way to capture life during the coronavirus pandemic and in the hopes of bringing small moments of joy to their daily lives.

Tepas is asking the families to donate at least $10 to a local charity in exchange for a family photo. Her suggested charity is the Barrington Area United Way COVID Response Fund, but families are welcome to choose their own charity to support.
