Barrington Police: Dealership Reports Fraudulent Check
Police reports for the week from Aug. 26.

Wickstrom Auto Group, 600 West Northwest Highway, reported a fraudulent check was used to purchase a vehicle on Aug. 27, police said.
Wendell B. Miller, 32, of 1341 W. Chase Ave. #302, Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content over .08 and improper parking on a roadway, police said. Miller was stopped at Route 14 and North Avenue on Aug. 25, reports stated. Miller was released on bond and given a Cook County court date on September 9.

Tyler K. Logoni, 38, of 525 Whitegate Court, Barrington, was arrested for driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content over .08, improper lane usage and driving below minimum speed, police said. Logoni was stopped at Ela Street and Balmoral Lane on Aug. 25, police said. Logoni was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Sept. 27.
A windshield was damaged on a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 100 block of West Lincoln Avenue on Aug. 26, reports stated.

A resident of the 100 block of West Lincoln Avenue reported on Aug. 27 that the landlord entered and removed some personal property in violation of the terms of the lease agreement, according to reports.
An unknown male driver pumped $57.00 of gas at the Shell Gas Station, 100 West Northwest Highway, and drove off without paying on Aug. 30, police reports stated.
