Barrington Police: Suspicious Incident, Thefts, Harassment

Police release reports from September 18-21.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious incident in the 900 block of Williamsburg Park on Sept. 18.

Police served a Notice of Trespass Warning in the 700 block of South Prairie Avenue on Sept. 18, reports stated.

A laptop computer was reported missing from a catering van on Sept. 19, police said.

A bicycle was reported stolen from the bike rack at the train depot, 201 Spring St. on Sept. 19, police said.

Police said a wallet, and iPhone4 were stolen and purchases were made on the victim’s credit cards on Sept. 20.

Police responded to the 200 block of Old Mill Road for a residential burglary on Sept. 21. Forced entry was made through a side garage door, police said.

A resident reported harassment on Sept. 21 when an acquaintance posted a video of them on Facebook.

Employees of a local business reported receiving harassing calls of an offensive nature on Sept. 21, police said.
