Barrington Ranks 53rd in State for DUI Arrests

Barrington ranks 53rd in the state for DUI arrests made in 2012.

According to the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists (AAIM), Barrington police arrested 122 people for driving under the influence last year. That adds up to 5.81 DUI arrests per officer.

Rockford topped the list with 686 DUI arrests last year. There were several Illinois municipalities that didn’t arrest any drunk drivers in 2012 including Pearl City, Union, St. Anne and Astoria.
