Barrington High School’s varsity softball team is having a phenomenal year. They are undefeated in MSL (Mid-Suburban League) Conference play, 16-0, and the team has a record of 28-1 overall.

“The highlight of the season are the 13 girls themselves. Great group of people to work with and very mature in their day-to-day dealings with one another,” Coach Perry Peterson said.
There are nine seniors on the team, three juniors and one sophomore.

So far the team is hitting .389 for the year, with 300 runs scored and 34 runs allowed while on defense, Peterson said.
The Fillies play Buffalo Grove tonight for the 40th annual MSL Conference championship game. The IHSA playoffs start next week.
The varsity softball Fillies are: Tess Bolger, Katie Dehnert, Keenan Dolezal, Raegan Fingerman, Cassidy Kraimer, Loren Krzysko, Krista Moore, Maggie O’Hara, Morgan Olszewski, Jenna Privatsky, Alexa Rebecca, Sam Rosenfield, and Erin Ward.
Keenan Dolezal, the only sophomore on the team, pitched a perfect game to win the Mid-Suburban West title, against Fremd on Monday, according to the Daily Herald.
