Cleaning Woman Charged with Felony for Stealing Jewelry

Izabela A. Gierczak, 26, of 4336 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, was arrested and charged with a Class 3 felony theft, $500 to $10,000, for taking jewelry from a house where she was cleaning in Barrington, according to Assistant Police Chief Dave Dorn.

Dorn said the theft occurred in October, and the arrest was on March 8. He said Gierczak was in custody at Lake County Jail on similar charges, for theft that occured in Highland Park.
