Coronavirus In Barrington: May 13 Update

BARRINGTON, IL — As of Tuesday, there have been 5 to 9 lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus reported in the village of limits of Barrington, according to the Lake County Department of Health website. In unincorporated Barrington, there have been 10 to 14 cases.

The population in incorporated Barrington is 4,640.

Throughout the county, there have been 5,700 confirmed cases and 185 deaths. The county's department of health does not provide data on the residency of those who have died of COVID-19.

Of those deaths, 117 are residents of long-term care facilities in the county.
