Group Plans Rally at Roskam’s Barrington Office for Immigration Refor
Day of action planned on Tuesday, October 22 at U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam's office.

Organizing for Action Illinois (OFA-IL) is planning a Day of Action this week in Barrington to tell Congress to pass Immigration reform.
“It’s time for them to focus on the real work that needs to be done,” according to an OFA-IL press release. Congress needs to pass comprehensive immigration refor and grow the U.S. economy.
Volunteers will gather at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 22 at Memorial Park in Barrington then move to Congressman Peter Roskam’s office at village hall, 200 S. Hough St.

Additionally, volunteers will canvass local communities, cell phone in hand, asking constituents to call their member of Congress on-the-spot and urge them to vote in favor of comprehensive reform.
These events and tactics will mark OFA’s continued steps toward a vote on comprehensive reform, which would create jobs, reduce the deficit, strengthen the middle class and reaffirm the American Dream.
