How Much Would You Pay for a Blackhawks Ticket?

How much would you pay for a Chicago Blackhawks ticket? The average price for a game ticket this year is $78.80, according to Team Marketing Report, and next season most likely will be $85.

At $85, that’s an 80 percent increase since 2009, the season before the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup. For six years in a row, the team has raised the face price on its tickets.

Last week, the Blackhawks sent season-ticket holders a letter with renewal prices for 2015-16. An upper-deck seat will cost $50 and a seat along the glass could cost as much as $450.

Crain’s Chicago Business reports that a seat for a Blackhawks game is among the most expensive in the NHL, ranking in the top five.
