  • An option to start school after Labor Day was eliminated;
  • An option to move K-12 from quarters to trimesters was eliminated;
  • An option to shift the high school schedule but not K-8 was eliminiated;

One of the options still being considered is the Naperville calendar in which school starts on Aug. 20 in 2014 and ends May 28.

In a survey of parents, it was determined that parents, staff and students wanted the start of the school year to be as late in August as possible; parents prefer to end school in June, but teachers and students preferred May.

The weekly meetings are open and all documents can be found at Input 220.
