Katherine Elizabeth Designs Opens Retail Storefront

Katherine Elizabeth Designs, a luxury boutique interior design firm in Barrington, is celebrating the opening of its new brick and mortar storefront and e-commerce expansion with grand opening celebrations taking place May 17 – 22, 2021.

The festivities will kick off on Monday, May 17 with a ribbon cutting with the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and members of the community at 4 p.m., followed by a networking open house. Other activities that week include workshops designed to help attendees update and refresh certain parts of their homes, including:

• Coffee Table Arrangement Workshop, Tuesday, May 18 at 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
• Flower Arrangement Workshop, Wednesday, May 19 at 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
• Styling Shelves Workshop, Thursday, May 20 at 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
• Community Open House with sweets, treats and giveaways, Saturday, May 22 from 10 – 4 p.m.

Katherine Elizabeth at Home is located at 800 S. Northwest Highway, Suite 100 in Barrington. The retail space can be found on the first floor with professional design studios, offices and meeting rooms on the second floor. The new retail location and online site will offer a variety of unique home products, including furniture, artwork, throw pillows, accessories such as coffee table books, candle holders, lamps and lighting, shelving, picture frames, unique jewelry and more. The team of designers at Katherine Elizabeth Designs offer consultation services for custom homes, renovations, furnishings and window treatments, as well as designs for offices, country clubs and more. The firm as founded by Katie Wozniak who grew up on job sites of her father's successful Design/Build custom home company. Katie graduated from Marquette University and then made her way to Parsons School of Design in Paris for intense, hands-on courses and Harrington College of Design where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She founded KED Designs 16 years ago.
