Letter to the Editor: Mike Kozel Thanks Supporters

I want to thank everyone who supported me.  I am very pleased with the results in spite of the fact that I was kicked off the ballot.  

The election has furthered my resolve to continue the battle to make Barrington a better community, a safer community, and more transparent.  I will do everything in my power to make downtown Barrington a vibrant area.  

Because of research done for the campaign, I am asking the Village Board to approve a forensic audit for all the financial activity for the Village for the last 10 years.   We found so many questionable expenses that we think this is more than an appropriate action and a necessity of good government.

I ask my fellow citizens of Barrington to assist with this action.
