New Location for Kooker’s Restaurant in Barrington

Business briefs from Barrington

Barrington has retained some businesses while welcoming new ones and celebrating longtime institutions.

Kooker’s Restaurant has new ownership that decided to remain in Barrington _ at a new location, said Peg Blanchard, director of economic and community development in the village. It is now located at 301 W. Northwest Highway.

New in town is Blue Cherry, which is making 115 S. Hough Street a popular place this summer, she said. The shop offers frozen yogurt with a bar full of toppings. It also has a new flavor, the Dreamsicle Delight, according to its Facebook page.
