Obituary: Mary Schippel

Mary Schippel, 74, of Barrington, passed away, June 21, 2013, in Barrington. 
She was born on August 20, 1938, to Raymond and Gertrude Liken, in Bay City, Michigan. 

Mary was active in S.I.G.E. (Special In God’s Eyes) at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Barrington. She was involved for over 25 years as a volunteer with Save-A-Pet, in Grayslake. 

Mary is survived by her loving husband, John Schippel; children, Scott (Lisa Flanary) Schippel and Doug (Nancy) Schippel; grandchildren, Sam, Nick, Blake and Adam Schippel; brother, Charles Liken; many close family friends, including, Linda Pochron. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.
