Police Blotter: DUI, Car Burglaries

DUI

Robert T. Roggeveen, age 64, of 990 Bosworthfield Rd., Barrington, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage at Route 14 and Main St., April 9. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of May 6.

Vehicle Burglary

Two vehicles were burglarized at the Good Shepherd Health and Fitness Center, located at 1301 South Barrington Rd., April 9, after a window was broken and valuables removed from the vehicles.

Cannabis Possession

A 13-year-old female from Carpentersville was charged with possession of cannabis at 215 Eastern Ave., April 10. She was released and given an adjudication hearing date of May 16.

Attempted Fraud

An attempted fraud was reported by a resident in the 400 block of South Dundee Avenue, April 11, when unknown person(s) called and attempted to have the resident wire money to them, under the guise of the money being needed for a grandchild.
