Police Blotter: DUI, Failure to Report Accident

Lance D. Wysong, 48, of 409 Horatio Boulevard, Buffalo Grove, was arrested for DUI, BAC over .08, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and no insurance after being involved in an accident at Main St. and Wool St, on April 24. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of May 17.

On April 14, Michael J. Dwyer,  39, of 827 S. Hough St., Barrington, was arrested for damaging an unattended vehicle and property, failure to give information of accident, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after being involved in an accident at 549 North Ave. He was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of May 17.

Criminal Damage at Ice House Mall

A Criminal Damage to Vehicle report was taken at the Ice House Mall, located at 200 Applebee Street, April 22, when a patron reported a tire being slashed on his vehicle.

Garden Cement  Stolen

A theft of garden cement was reported from Tivoli Garden Antiques, located at 107 East Main St., April 23.

Hit and Run at Metra Station

A Hit and Run report was taken at the Metra Train Station, 201 Spring Street, April 25, when the wire for the space numbering system was driven through, pulling two poles out of the ground with it.
