Stalled CN Freight Train Now Clear

A stalled freight train blocked traffic at Lake Zurich Road, Route 14 and Route 59 this afternoon. The train was stalled at about 2:30 p.m. and remained stalled for about a half-hour, according to the Village of Barrington.

Public Works and the Police Department worked with CN to correct the situation. At this time, it is unclear why the train was stalled.
