Teen Walking Along Road Dies In South Barrington Collision
The 18-year-old man has been identified as Jake Brummitt of Mount Prospect.
SOUTH BARRINGTON, IL - An 18-year-old Mount Prospect man died after being hit by a vehicle while walking along Barrington Road Saturday night, according to authorities. Jake Brummitt died from multiple injuries due to a pedestrian being accidentally struck by a vehicle, according to a Cook County Medical Examiner's Office report. An autopsy was completed Monday on Brummitt.
Authorities said the collision happened at 9:38 p.m. on Saturday at 25 N. Barrington Road in South Barrington, the Daily Herald reports.
