A post on the FB page on May 6 read, “Roberto has STILL not been returned to us - I am sick - $100 reward for his safe return.”

Studio owner Tairi Grace said the cat was a foster, but she fell in love with him and he just stayed.

“He came in as a stray that I was fostering but was so amazing I couldn’t give him up,” she said. “Everyone in town knows him and is very upset.”

Roberto, a brown and tan tabby cat, is easy to recognize because he has an unusually short tail.

Before landing at the rescue from which Grace adopted him, it is believed Roberto had been injured when trying to stay warm under a running car. The rescue had to partially amputate it when Roberto was turned in.

Roberto lives at the studio and when he is allowed, you can find him on a yoga mat during a class, just hanging out with those in attendance.

If you have information on Roberto’s whereabouts or think you might have seen him, please call studio owner Tairi Grace at 630-881-1095.
