The Batavia United Way is hosting their 7th annual Halloween-themed 5K Walk/Run/10K Run on October 31, 2020, on the lovely Fox River Trail bike path. This chip-timed event is designed for runners of all ages and abilities. This year, due to COVID-19, we have added the option to complete the race virtually. Our LIVE, on-site option will accommodate social distancing, mask, and sanitizing guidelines. Staggered start waves will begin at 7:50 a.m. for the 10K and 8:00 a.m. for the 5K. Children’s fun run will begin at 9:30 a.m. Costumes are encouraged but not required. There will be a costume contest with prizes for those who choose to participate. Early registration discount of $5 off for non-students when registered before August 30th. For more information or to register, visit us at www.bataviaunitedway.org/5k10k/. Please register by October 17 to be guaranteed a race shirt and goody bag. All proceeds support the mission of Batavia United Way (https://bataviaunitedway.org/).
