The Batavia Fireworks Committee is thrilled to be able to once again provide Batavia and beyond another fabulous 4th of July Sky Concert! But your help is desperately needed to make sure our show can pay all our bills! The pandemic took away our ability to have as many fundraisers as usual, so please consider assisting us to help make this a wonderful experience for all involved.
On July 4th, we need volunteers to help with the following:

- Clubs or organizations to man parking lots from 5:00-9:00pm; any legitimate club or organization that can offer volunteers will get in return 10% of the parking fees collected for their group (amounts made depend on the number of workers who come for any particular group); a large amount of the monies used each year to pay for the fireworks show come from these parking lots (after the 4th, the check will be made out to the organization, not to an individual)
- People to walk the fields of Engstrom Park and the south side of Batavia High School from 6:00-9:00 pm on July 4th to collect donations
- People (individuals or groups) to help pick up garbage on Monday morning, July 5th; the Batavia Park District, like so many businesses and organizations, is short staffed this summer—they cannot find workers; Park District summer workers are usually the ones who do the clean-up the day after our Sky Concert; without their help, several more people are needed to make sure all garbage is gathered and disposed of properly
For those of you who have enjoyed the free Batavia fireworks show for years, it’s time to say, “Thank you, Batavia!” by giving of your time and energies to making sure our show can be successful this year and for many years to come! Thank you for stepping up, in advance…as Batavians always do!
