Batavia Christmas Tree Collection Schedule

Residents can leave their tree out without a refuse sticker on select dates.

BATAVIA, IL --- Now that the holiday is over, it's time to take down the decorations and get rid of the tree if you've had one on display. Some families who celebrate Christmas take their holiday tree down right away, whereas others keep it up for a while longer. Advanced Disposal will be collecting trees in Batavia from Jan. 3 through Jan. 11 to help accommodate homeowners who are getting rid of decorations.

The tree collection schedule is as follows:

South Side (south of Wilson between Kirk and Randall): Jan. 3 and Jan. 9

Homeowners should remove ornaments, lights, tinsel, garland, nails, plastic bags, and other items and leave the tree out for collection on the above dates. No refuse sticker is needed if you leave your tree out on a designated collection date.

You can also leave your tree out after the designated dates, but you must do so on your normal collection day and you must apply a refuse sticker.
