Batavia City Hall Offers Shelter During Frigid Temps
Residents with power or heating outages and other emergencies are encouraged to take shelter as temps drop below zero.

BATAVIA, IL -- With temperatures dropping below zero Thursday, Batavia officials announced that Batavia City Hall would be open for residents to use as a warming center. Residents impacted by power outages, heating issues, or other emergencies may be able to take advantage of the heating center during and outside of normal business hours.
Those who plan to use Batavia City Hall as a warming center during normal business hours are advised to check in with the receptionist on the second floor first. If you come before or after business hours, it is advised that you check with the front desk at the Batavia Police Department.
