Batavia Earth Day Fest Celebrates Nature, Conservation

Music, food, fun, and environmental education await at the Montessori Academy's Earth Day Celebration.

BATAVIA, IL — The Batavia Montessori Academy's Earth Day Celebration is slated to be a day full of music and fun that underscores a powerful message about the future of the planet. Local non-profit organizations will join vendors and educators to teach guests about eco-conscious living at the April 21 event.

The Earth Day Celebration will take place at the Montessori Academy Campus, which sits on six peaceful acres along the Fox River. The event is family-friendly and there will be plenty of interactive activities for kids, according to a post on the Batavia Chamber of Commerce website.

The cost to attend the event is $25 for adults and kids 13 and older. Kids 12 and under get in for free. The Batavia Montessori Academy recommends buying tickets at their website ahead of the Montessori Academy's Earth Day Celebration.
