Batavia Park District Named Exceptional Workplace

The Batavia Park District was awarded the 2020 Exceptional Workplace Award by the Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA) during the annual IPRA business meeting on January 28, 2021. This award is given to park and recreation agencies that meet or exceed criteria in forty eight different areas, including wellness, safety, and ethics.

This Exceptional Workplace Award is recognized for five years. The Batavia Park District was last awarded this honor in 2015.
