Blocktober Family Event Coming to Downtown St. Charles on Sun., Oct. 29
St. Mark's and Immanuel Churches announce their Fall Blocktober community block party on Sunday, October 29 from noon until 2 PM.
The Blocktober 2017 community block party includes Trunk-or-Treat in the BMO Harris St. Charles Main Branch parking lot, family fall-themed games, face painting, magician, food tents, and more. The event will be held on Riverside Ave. between Main St. (Rt. 64) and Walnut Ave. in downtown St. Charles.
Blocktober is part of a larger joint celebration of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation by St. Mark in St. Charles and Immanuel. The four pillars of the movement help center both historic Fox Valley congregations in grace alone, faith alone, scripture alone, and Jesus alone. The congregations will host a 10:30 AM worship service at the Arcada Theatre in downtown St. Charles. The public is invited to both the church service and Blocktober events.
Parking for Blocktober and the 10:30 AM worship event is available in multiple parking garages and streets in downtown St. Charles. Contact Megan Popp at 630 879 7163 or mpopp@immanuelbatavia.org or Tim Johnson at (630) 584-8638 or tim.johnson@stmarkschurch.church with questions.
