Dance Students Bring Holiday Windows To Life In Batavia

BATAVIA, IL --- If you head to most downtown areas during the holiday season, you're likely to see dozens of shop windows decked out with twinkling lights and snowy scenes. What you might not expect to see are human ballerinas that come to life and pirouette before your eyes. Batavia Academy of Dance is getting into the holiday spirit with live dancing windows that start Sunday, Nov. 25, and run every Saturday through Dec. 15.
The live dancing windows will be on display from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 25 and from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 1, 8, and 15. In addition to the whimsical "dancing windows," shoppers can also indulge in hot cocoa and holiday treats inside the dance school.
