Decapitated Pigeons, Chickens Found In Batavia Cemetery: Sheriff
The birds were found near a military tank in Batavia's River Hills Memorial Park, according to police reports.
BATAVIA, IL — A Kane County sheriff’s deputy found three decapitated chickens and two headless pigeons earlier this month near the tank at River Hills Memorial Park cemetery in Batavia, according to police reports.
The deputy, who did not find any heads or blood trails in the area, put the birds into a bag and placed them in a nearby trash can, the report states.
