Cindy lets the shelter volunteers handle her puppies while they clean her kennel. But this poor family is still stuck in the shelter.Fostering a mom and babies is so much fun! It's a lot of work, but very worth it! We have people who will help you and guide you through the process. Cindy is also HW NEGATIVE!Let us know if you can take Cindy Lou Who and her tiny little Who Puppies.
Petra – This boxer mix is 2 years old and about 45lbs. Someone cropped this poor girl ears off, but that hasn’t broken her spirit! She’s fun and friendly and always wiggling her butt. Gets along with other dogs! Petra is heartworm NEGATIVE!
Gus – 7 month old and 40lbs. Gus is a black and tan dog that might be a hound/ shepherd mix. He’s fun and friendly and a typical puppy. He’s not a fan of the shelter! He’s much more interested in hanging out with a family
Morgan - is a terrier mix puppy that will be 8 weeks old on 12/14. He's
sweet, smart, and playful! He's love to curl up on the couch with you and watch Christmas movies!
Oreo – This sweet 1 year old boy is about 40lbs. He was found alone on the streets in TN. He’s shy and nervous at the shelter but volunteers believe he’ll come out of his shell once he’s safe in a home. Sadly, Oreo is heart worm positive and will need a home for two months while Safe
Haven provides him treatment.
Diamond - this 6 year old pit mix weighs 55lbs. She LOVES people. Her dream day includes a day of sun bathing and then curling up with her people for a long nap. She loves walks. Diamond doesn't want to share attention and must be the only dog in the home.
Prince, Pogo, Pluto, Peanut (males) and Pippy & Petunia (females) These six were being given away in a Walmart parking lot in rural TN. Thankfully someone from the shelter was alerted and was able to get these before they were given away. They were given shots and are now being cared for. However, the foster homes are full down there and these guys are at the shelter. These guys weigh between 2.5-and 5lbs. They must be fostered in pairs. They’ll be about 7.5 weeks old at the time of transport.
Trueman & Tracy - these two are the last of their litter looking for fosters! They are 3-4-month-old shepherd mixes of some kinds! They are all fun and playful puppies. They would love to be fostered in groups of one or two!
Safe Haven provides you with everything you need while you foster. You also have the first option to adopt the dog in your care. Fostering is a great way to see if a dog fits in with your family!
Please don't delay. We have until 12pm on Thursday to have committed fosters and SAVE these dogs. They can only come THIS SATURDAY 12/14 if we have committed fosters!
