Emergency BNSF Repairs Close 2 Stops In, Near Batavia

BATAVIA, IL — Two BNSF Metra stops will be temporarily closed for emergency repairs Tuesday through Thursday. City officials say the closure will impact the Adams and Van Buren St. crossings as crews work to "correct defects within the crossings."

Traffic will be rerouted past the crossings starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday. The project is expected to wrap and normal traffic will resume by 5 p.m. Thursday.
