Fire Hydrant Flushing To Begin In Batavia

City officials will notify Batavia homeowners by posting signs in their neighborhoods.

BATAVIA, IL — City officials have announced that Batavia will begin flushing fire hydrants throughout the city in April. Signs will be put up in your neighborhood to give advanced notice of when the flushing will take place.

Fire hydrants on the west side of the Fox River will start April 2 and end April 13, according to a news release from city officials. Crews will flush the hydrants on the east side of the Fox River from April 16 through April 27.
