Immanuel Garage Sale Cancelled for 2020
Cindy Rueffer, Garage Sale Coordinator, shares disappointment in our current reality.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation or the 2020 Immanuel Garage Sale. After much discussion and research, we have reached the conclusion that the risks to our customers and volunteers are simply too great.
We thank the wonderful folks who volunteered to help this year, to even under these dangerous conditions--and to our other faithful workers who were honest in letting us know their concerns.
We treasure this ministry and the hundreds of guests who walk through our doors. This is such a tremendous opportunity to welcome our community to our campus and actively show them the love of Jesus! We are also aware that many people and organizations in our community and the surrounding area depend on our sale to help them, which makes this decision so difficult.

We look forward to our 2021 sale being bigger and better than ever! If you have been saving your treasures, and could hold them for another year, that would be great. If not, please consider donating your items to the Epilepsy Foundation [call 855 968 3662 or visit donateillinois.org to arrange a home pick up] or the Children’s Cancer Federation [call 888 875 4066 to schedule a pick up]. These are two of the organizations we typically support with our remaining donations after our sale ends.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support of this ministry!
