Pumpkin Daze Brings Fall Fun To Abbey Farms In Batavia

The festivities include a corn maze, hayrides, spooky movies, and more.

BATAVIA, IL — Halloween is right around the corner and few places are more ready to embrace the spooky season like Abbey Farms in Batavia. The farm's month-long Pumpkin Daze kicked off on Oct. 1 and will bring pumpkins, scary outdoor movies, cider, and pumpkin-spiced donuts for visitors who come to celebrate autumn.

The main attraction at Pumpkin Daze is naturally the pumpkins, and there are endless rows of them throughout the 40-acre farm. Once you're done picking your pumpkin, you can try to make your way through the Abbey Farms corn maze, take a hayride through the fields, or watch a classic Halloween-themed film under the stars.

Oct. 6: E.T. & The Goonies
Oct. 13: The Addams Family & Casper
Oct. 20: Monsters, Inc. & Ghostbusters
Oct. 27: It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown & Hotel Transylvania & Hocus Pocus

Beer and wine tents will also be set up in the park for grownups who want to indulge a bit. The beer tents are open on Saturdays and Sundays starting at noon.
