BATAVIA, IL — September is here, and so is the Halloween season — at least at the 1,400 or so seasonal Spirit Halloween stores that opened nationwide at the beginning of the month, including in Batavia.

All the company’s stores sell costumes, Halloween décor and accessories for children, teens and adults. The store in Batavia is open at 341 N. Randall Road.
