Batavia United Way is seeking the community’s help in creating handmade Valentines cards to present to senior citizens residing in assisted living, rehabilitation, and long-term care facilities in Batavia. We will be collecting homemade cards from January 25 to February 8, 2021, in a drop box located at City of Batavia, 100 N. Island Avenue. This is a great project for all ages! Our senior citizens are vitally important to our community and have been impacted significantly by safety restrictions over the course of the pandemic. This is a way to brighten their day in a safe and responsible way. If you have any questions or if you would like to indicate interest in participating, contact Kari Edwards via phone or text at 630-550-8854.
