Wacky Band Will Launch Fermilab Celebration in Batavia

The kick-off event will be on January 21

Mucca Pazza might look like a rag-tag marching band with their non-matching uniforms, but this high-energy group will be starting off Fermilab's 50th anniversary celebration on January 21.

Their name, Italian for 'Crazy Cow,' will seem appropriate after you've experienced their musical antics.

The event at Fermilab will have two parts. The first will be an orchestra style performance, and the second will be their marching band experience.
The concert will be preceded by an art exhibit and science demonstrations. Fermilab will have several events over the next few months to celebrate 50 years of physics research.
