19th Ward Organizations Offer Children's Easter Egg Hunts

Find some eggs and meet the Easter Bunny this Saturday, March 19.

Children in the 19th ward will have two chances to mingle with the Easter Bunny this Saturday, March 19.

Beverly Ridge Homeowners Association

Bring your Easter baskets to the Beverly Ridge Homeowners Association’s fifth annual Easter egg hunt to Ridge Park, 9625 S. Longwood Ave. The egg hunt will begin promptly at 9:15 a.m. and kids will be divided into various age groups.

Bring your cameras, too, and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Parents and grandparents are asked to RSVP the number of children attending along with their ages at beverlybrha@gmail.com.


Crescent Park Civic Association

The hunt is also on at Crescent Park starting at 10:30 a.m. All Crescent Park residents are invited to come out and enjoy coffee with their neighbors and watch the kids scramble for eggs.

A $5 donation is appreciated. All participants are asked to check in. Please recycle the eggs after you find them.

Crescent Park is located at 2200 W 108th Pl. The egg hunt is sponsored by the Crescent Park Civic Association.

Eggs will not be filled with candy containing peanut butter, but organizers cannot guarantee that candy was produced at a peanut-free facility.
