CHICAGO — Requests will be taken starting at 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, for the 10th Ward Senior Citizens St. Patrick’s Day lunches. Meal requests will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations will not be accepted by phone.

On March 17, St. Patrick’s Day, community volunteers will deliver individually-packaged corned beef sandwich lunches to seniors age 65 and older living in the ward. Orders are limited to one lunch per resident with a maximum of two people per household. The no-contact delivery will be made between 11 a.m. and noon.

Unfortunately, lunches cannot be delivered to senior living communities. The lunch delivery is generously sponsored by Ald. Matt O’Shea, Sen. Bill Cunningham, Rep. Fran Hurley and County Fair Foods.
