19th Ward Youth Foundation Plans Blood Drive At Marist

Make an appointment to donate blood drive May 1 at the 19th Ward Youth Foundation's community blood drive at Marist High School.

CHICAGO — The 19th Ward Youth Foundation is planning a community blood drive from 8 a,m, to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 1. The blood drive will be held in the cafeteria at Marist High School, 4200 W. 115th St., Chicago.

With the pandemic, there is an urgent need for all blood types in the Chicago area. Appointments are required and can be made in the cafeteria, 8:00am-1:30pm. Blood donations save lives and we have an urgent need for all blood types in the Chicago area. Appointments are required and can be made at the Community Blood Center, and use the sponsor code CS01 to locate this blood drive or call 1-800-280-4102. Be sure to bring a photo ID to the appointment.

If you’ve had the Johnson & Johnson or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, you can still donate blood.
