2-Year Old Girl Diagnosed With Cancer, $40K Raised In 3 Days
It only took three days to raise more than $40,000 for the family of Finley Bracken. At age 2, Finley has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma.

CHICAGO — The Bracken family in the Morgan Park neighborhood's St. Cajetan parish is the latest of far too many families on the Far South Side to learn that one of their loved ones has cancer. In this case that loved one is 2-year-old Finley, the youngest of four girls in the family who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma last Friday.
A GoFundMe effort began immediately to help the Bracken family with the financial stress that will come from what doctors expect to be a year or more of treatment for Finley, and in just three days it quadrupled its goal of raising $10,000. As of noon on Tuesday, the campaign had raised $40,988 and by the end of the work day on Wednesday that number grew to $46,658 and counting.
"Our goal is to help remove the immediate financial stress that they may endure and to hold this beautiful family up and to be sure that Finley, along with Dan, Lacey and their three other daughters, have what they need to get through this unimaginable time," the GoFundMe description states.
