4th Suspect In Retired CFD Lt's Fatal Shooting Arrested At O'Hare
The 19-year-old Chicago Heights man was extradited from Pennsylvania and charged in the shooting death of retired CFD Lt. Dwain Williams.

CHICAGO — The fourth and final suspect in the attempted carjacking and fatal shooting of a retired Chicago firefighter has been extradited from Pennsylvania to Chicago. Police met 19-year-old Jaylen Saulsberry at O’Hare International Airport on Tuesday, where he was taken into custody, police said.
Saulsberry, of Chicago Heights, has been charged with one felony count of first-degree murder. Police said Saulsberry had been arrested New Year’s Day on a warrant in Pennsylvania. The Chicago Heights man was being held there on a $2 million warrant while waiting to be extradited to Chicago.
Retired Chicago Fire Department Lt. Dwain Williams, 65, was leaving a popcorn store in Morgan Park when he was confronted by four men driving a stolen Ford Fusion, police said. The occupants were believed to be after Williams’ Jeep Grand Cherokee. There was an exchange of gunfire between Williams, who held a conceal-carry license, and the suspects, police said. Williams was shot in the stomach and died at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
