8 Neighborhood Sites On Open House Chicago Tour

CHICAGO, IL - The Far South Side neighborhoods of Beverly and Morgan Park will be well represented in the annual Open House Chicago tour, which takes shape at more than 250 locations throughout the city of Chicago this Saturday, Oct. 13 and Sunday, Oct. 14.

Locally, neighborhood residents won't have to travel far to get an inside look at the Wild Blossom Meadery & Winery, Optimo, John H. Vanderpoel Art Association, The Givens Castle, Ridge Historical Society, Ingersoll-Blackwelder House, Morgan Park United Methodist Church and Morgan Park Academy Alumni Hall.

Here's when each of them will be open, via Open House Chicago

• Wild Blossom Meadery & Winery, 9030 S. Hermitage Ave.: Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Optimo, 1700 W. 95th St.: Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• John H. Vanderpoel Art Association, 9625 S. Longwood Dr.: Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday 11a.m. to 4 p.m.
• The Givens Castle, 10255 S. Seeley Ave.: Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
