Beverly Lemonade Stand Will Raise Funds for the Developmentally Disabled
The 5th Annual Molly Browne Gallagher lemonade stand is legendary, as lemonade stands go, and every last cent of the funds raised goes to Misericordia, an organization devoted to helping people with developmental disabilities.

There have been plenty of lemonade stands this summer. But have you ever heard of a lemonade stand collecting $17,000? And then donating that money to charity? The Annual Molly Browne Gallagher Lemonade Stand is doing just that.
The Browne Gallaghers and friends have raised an incredible amount of funds for Misericordia (more than $34,000 total) since 2009. Their legendary lemonade stand continues its legacy this weekend.
The 5th Annual Molly Browne Gallagher Lemonade Stand will be this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the St. John Fisher Church Courtyard, 10210 S. Fairfield Ave., in Beverly.

In 2008, Molly Browne Gallagher was born with Down Syndrome. As Molly’s first birthday approached in 2009, her siblings wanted to do something special to celebrate. They hosted a lemonade stand with freeze pops and brownies, raising $250. They donated all the funds raised to Misericordia, an organization that assists in maximizing the potential for persons with mild to profound developmental disabilities and provides support for their families.
Throughout the past five years, the stand has grown to include sweets, snow cones, popcorn, raffle prizes, and a drawing to win an iPad. Last year alone, the community helped raise $17,000 for Misericordia. This year, let's help raise even more. Stop by the lemonade stand Sunday to get some goodies, help an incredible cause and wish little Molly a happy birthday.
