Bob Peters, Brother Rice Business Teacher, Dies
Bob Peters was in his sixth year as a faculty member at the school.
CHICAGO — Bob Peters, a Brother Rice High School business teacher, has died. The school confirmed the sudden death of Peters on Wednesday.
"Bob was a leader in many ways to both faculty and students and a bright star in our Brother Rice community," the school said in a statement on social media.
Peters was the chair of the school's business department and an assistant baseball coach, a LinkedIn profile shows. He was in his sixth year as a teacher at Brother Rice and in January 2019 was named the "Faculty Crusader of the Month."

He also taught accounting and entrepreneurship courses and started the schools' investment club.
His cause of death was not immediately known. The school said it was an unexpected death.
