Bungalow Association Seeks Nominations For Driehaus Awards
The Chicago Bungalow Association is accepting nominations for its annual Driehaus Awards.

CHICAGO, IL -- Bungalow owners in Beverly and throughout the city of Chicago can now enter their home for a chance to win $1,000 as part of the 13th annual Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Bungalow Awards created by the Chicago Bungalow Association. The CBA released its call for nominations this week as a way to "honor the creativity and efforts of bungalow owners for home improvement and restoration projects both large and small."
"The number of Driehaus Award nominations from throughout the City increases each year,” said Mary Ellen Guest, executive director of the CBA. “This is a reflection of homeowners who take pride in caring for their bungalows.”
The awards are divided into seven categories, with the first-place winner in each winning a handcrafted bronze plaque in addition to the $1,000 prize money.

All nominations must be CBA-certified brick Chicago-style bungalows in which the projects have been completed within the last five years. The projects will be judged by a panel of architects, preservation experts and civic leaders.
