Drive-Thru Food Drive Planned At Maple Morgan Park Pantry
Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry serving Beverly, Mt. Greenwood, Morgan Park and Washington Heights plans drive-thru food drive March 18.
CHICAGO — The Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry serves the entire 19th Ward community, and they need residents’ help. This Thursday, March 18, e food pantry will be holding a contactless, drive-thru food drive from noon to 3 p.m. The pantry is located in the basement of the Morgan Park United Methodist Church, 11030 S. Longwood Drive, Chicago.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the pantry provided assistance to 500 to 600 families per month, that number has nearly tripled to 1,500 families per month. Please consider supporting this important community institution, allowing them to assist the less fortunate in Beverly, Morgan Park, Mount Greenwood, Washington Heights, and West Pullman.
Residents can also donate online at www.maplemorganparkfoodpantry.org or checks made payable to Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry.
