Enjoy Country Soul In The Fresh Air With Over The Side Band

Bring a blanket and a cooler to Beverly Park on July 8 and enjoy a free outdoor concert by native South Siders Over the Side Band.

CHICAGO — Enjoy country soul in the fresh air Thursday, July 8, at Beverly Park, 2640 W. 102nd St. Over the Side Band takes the stage at 7 p.m. in this free concert hosted by the 19th Ward Youth and Community Foundation.

These native South Siders perform “Chicago’s Americana/Alt-Country Soul Band, so bring a blanket and a cooler and enjoy a summer evening in the park with friends and neighbors. Don’t forget the mosquito repellant.

Restroom facilities will be available.

This concert is generously sponsored by Sen. Bill Cunningham (18th District), Rep. Fran Hurley (35th District), Burling Builders, OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center, Peoples Gas and the Chicago Park District.

In addition, the 19th Ward will be selling the "Freedom Isn't Free" yard signs for $20 in support of the Road Home Program at Rush University Medical Center.
