Free Flu Shots At The 19th Ward Office Saturday
Free flu shots will be available on a first come, first served basis from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
CHICAGO — Free flu shots will be available and given on a first come, first served basis on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the 19th Ward Office in Beverly. 19th Ward Ald. Matt O'Shea is partnering with Sen. Bill Cunningham, Rep. Fran Hurley and the Chicago Department of Public Health in offering the influenza immunizations from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at his office located at 10402 S. Western Ave.
The shots are offered to all adults and children older than six months old.
Getting an annual flu shot is the best way to prevent illness, O'Shea said in an email to ward residents.
