'Grateful': New Music Video Helps The Salvation Army

The new music video from Beverly artist Kip "Kidd" Russell is part of a project to benefit The Salvation Army.

CHICAGO — Kip "Kidd" Russell, a Beverly neighborhood music video artist has released his latest hit on YouTube. "Grateful," in his words, captures the spirit of the season — "giving back, being thankful and enjoying good food."

"The video features my real-life daughter, the Salvation Army shield of hope and some very hungry Chicago firefighters," he said.

Russell partnered with the legendary Lawrence Fish and Shrimp and The Salvation Army Chicago to debut the music video for the song . All proceeds from streams from the video will support The Salvation Army.

The video is shot at a Lawrence restaurant and other sites in the city and includes a number of shots of members of the Chicago Fire Department.
