CHICAGO - The Beverly Area Planning Association has added a Home Expo to the day of the always popular Home Tour. The expo, which will go from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bethany Union Church, 1750 W. 103rd St. on Sunday, May 19, will offer expert advice on a wide range of topics for neighborhood home owners.

The BAPA Home Tour, always held on the third Sunday of May, will begin at the same location as the expo and offers a self-guided tour of five homes in the neighborhood.

At the expo, experts on hand will include interior designers, wood restoration experts, people who offer eco-friendly services and roofing companies. Also, the Chicago Bungalow Association will present information on its "Stop the Pop" campaign that encourages bungalow home owners to maintain the integrity of the home's original design while building additions.
